Carolyn Sue Morgan

            Funeral service for Carolyn Sue Morgan, age 62, of Frederick, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Dr. Shane Kendrix, pastor of First Baptist Church of Frederick, officiating.

            Mrs. Morgan passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at her home in Frederick.

            Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

            She was born August 14, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to Melton Turman and Billie (Folsom) Abbott. She graduated from C. E. King High School in Crosby, Texas. She worked as a CNA at the Travis State School in Austin, Texas. On May 22, 1993, she was united in marriage to Larry Watson at Channelview, Texas. In 1999, she moved to Frederick, Oklahoma, to be near family. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed to go camping and fishing. She loved her grandbabies.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Larry Watson on October 19, 2005; three brothers: Delbert Turman, James Turman and Melton “Bubba” Turman; two sisters: Patricia Wade and Rita Wade.

            Survivors include three sons: Danny Turman and wife Lisa, of Altus, Nathan Morgan, of Frederick, and James Morgan and wife Nena, of Altus; a brother: Dean Turman, of Houston, Texas; a sister Linda Wade, of Channelview, Texas; and five grandchildren: Zachary Morgan, Austin Morgan, Kara Linden, Jakese and Andrea Turman.
